Mean Messiah is a progressive industrial metal band from the Czech Republic. The group was formed by multi-instrumentalist and producer Dan Friml, formerly of the legendary bands Sebastian and Apostasy, as well as various other cross-genre projects. Dan is also an acclaimed music producer, sound and mixing engineer, and studio musician. In the summer of 2023, Dan was joined by bassist Lenka Čechová and drummer Miloš Meier; however, in November 2024, Miloš was replaced by his brother, Matěj Meier. Mean Messiah latest single, “Death Is On My Side,” was released on November 27, 2025.
